What the specific problem was (algae, mold, etc) – Shingles blew off in recent wind storm. Shingles were nailed too high lowering the wind resistance of the shingles. Upon removing what was left of shingles that blew off, determined a much larger area affected. Underlayment was missing in parts, new ice and water shield installed under new shingles. In the process of doing these roof repairs we reattached the plywood that was not originally fastened correctly.
